AARP Driver Safety Program
FASC hosts classes for drivers 55 years and older. When completed, you may be entitled to a discount on your car insurance. The first class is for 8 hours (split up over 2 sessions) and every 3 years thereafter you can take a 4 hour "refresher" course. Class size is limited and there is a fee. The fee must be paid at the time of registration. Open to the entire community.

- 4 hour class: Thurs., Feb. 16, 1:15-5:15 pm
- 4 hour class: Sat., Mar. 3, 10 am-2:00 pm- CLASS CANCELLED
- 8 hour class: Wed. & Thur., Mar. 28 & 29, 6-10:00 pm
Alzheimer's Care Consultations
A service of the Alzheimer’s Assc. designed to assist those who are dealing with Alzheimer’s or related dementia. This free service is for all area residents, membership is not required. Also note: the Alzheimer’s Association Information Helpline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-800-272-3900.

Blood Pressure Check
FASC offers free blood pressure checks every Wednesday at noon. St. Lucas, Brookdale Senior Living, Keystone, Faribault Commons, Milestone Senior Living, and Pleasant Manor provide the staff. No appointment necessary. Open to the entire community.
Book Club
This group meets each month to discuss the monthly book of choice. Members only.
Card Games
The Senior Center offers a place for its members to join in a card game. No pre-registration. Members only activity. The weekly schedule:
- Mon. & Fri.– Bridge and “500”
- Tues.– Player’s Choice
- Wed.–Euchre
- Thur.– Pfeiffer
Card Making Class
Learn how to make one-of-a-kind special occasion or seasonal cards using the latest techniques and supplies.
Checkbook Balancing Service
If you need assistance with balancing your personal checkbook, the Senior Center has a volunteer available to help.
Computer Assistance
Classes: Interested in learning more about computers? Our computer classes can now be customized just for you! Just one phone call to the Senior Center and we can connect you with an instructor who will give you one-on-one instruction on your computer or ours. Just choose from the list of possible class topics and give us a call.

Repair and Support: Along with classes, our volunteers can also help with other computer questions. If you need assistance, with one phone call to the Senior Center we can connect you with a volunteer who will help you right in your own home. Just choose from the list of possible topics and give us a call.

Foot Clinic
Diane Rech and Sandy Rost offer foot care for area residents. Open to the public, no membership required. Make an appointment by calling the Senior Center at 332-7357.
Health Care Directives Assistance
This document describes your health care wishes. A volunteer will assist you in writing your health care directive. Open to the public.
Health Insurance Counseling
Meet with a trained volunteer for help with your benefits check up, plus any health insurance and Medicare questions. Open to the public.
Kitchen Band
Join other FASC members as they make beautiful music using kitchen utensils!
Life Writing Group
Come and learn a simple technique for recording your family stories. Join us for lively discussion, fun writing exercises, and the sharing of stories. Members only.
Out to Lunch Bunch
This group is for Senior Center members who are interested in trying different restaurants in Faribault and the surrounding area.
Thursday Morning Exercise Class
Low impact exercise without stress, includes stretching. This class is for FASC members, no pre-registration required.
Snouse Card Party
If you are familiar with the card games of Euchre or Pfeiffer, you can easily learn to play Snouse. In fact, if you come early to the next Snouse Card Party, you can have a quick lesson before you start. The event is open to the public, no membership or pre-registration is required.
